Public Diplomacy Essay Contest (~2021.6.14 MON)

A hot topic of the 21st century, public diplomacy is diplomacy led by private sectors. This public diplomatic essay contest is aimed to spread public diplomacy consciousness to students. Sookmyung Women's University undergraduate and graduate students are invited to enter their original written essay.

★TOPIC

·Analysis and Suggestion of Public Diplomacy in Korea. Not comprehensive but specific examples. [Ex. Analysis of Korea’s public diplomacy through Hanshik (Korean food) with identified problems and suggested solutions

★FORMAT

Format I Around 7 pages in A4 format (including an introduction, main body, and conclusion)

·Presentation |Thursday, May 20 at10am ~12pm

·Deadline | Monday, June 14 at 6pm

·Evaluation | Wednesday, June 16 at 6pm

·1st |300,000 KRW (1 entry)

·2nd |200,000 KRW (1 entry)

·3^rd |200,000 KRW (1 entry)

·Honorable Mention |50,000 KRW (6 entries)

★(Optional)SUMMARY PRESENTATION

· A brief 10minute presentation. Essay abstract presentation followed by directions and comments from specialists (A maximum of 10 applicants will present. If more apply, 10 will be selected)

· Each presenter will be provided with 50,000KRW for presentation.
